He was predeceased by: his wife Helene Donaghue Nee Brennan; his daughter Colleen Giffith; and his siblings, John, Thomas, Hugh, Mary Alice Salvetti and Bill McCabe.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia McNally (Jack), Charlie Donaghue (Patricia) and Hugh Donaghue (Donna); his grandchildren, Gary Gentile (Patty), Cheryl Gaetani (Sal), Jackie McNally, Kristin Plass (Colin), CJ Donaghue, Patrick Donaghue (Nicole), Leigh-Anne Donaghue, Christopher Donaghue (Kaitlyn), Scott Donaghue (Kaitlynn) and Sean Donaghue; his son-in-law Richard Griffith; and his brother-in-law James Brennan. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Martha (3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Ocean County Memorial Park (1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
