She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Polhemus and Charles Wesley Polhemus; her siblings, Joan Pedersen and Charles Polhemus; her children, Charles McCarthy, Michelle Haber and Rebecca Shipley; and her husband Charles James McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Rossi, Nancy Winifred Quigley, Mary Cathrine Kearns (James) and Michael Wesley McCarthy; her sister-in-law Angela Polhemus; and her pets, Max and Reggie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home-Brick (505 Burnt Tavern Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart RC Church (752 Main Ave, Bay Head, NJ 08742). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Atlantic View Cemetery (49 Forest Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08730).
