He was predeceased by: his parents, Danh Kim Huynh and Sam Thi Huynh (Dang); and his siblings, Nguyet Minh Huynh (Minh Kim Huynh), Nam Van Huynh, Ha Thu Huynh and Van Thu Huynh.
He is survived by: his sibling Thuy Phu Huynh; his son Xuan Huynh; his cousin Xuan Huynh; his siblings-in-law, Mai Dougherty (Kimberly Hicks), Kenny Trac, Vuong Dang and Nguyet Kim Trac; his wife Kimhen Thi Huynh (Trac); his daughters, Anna Huynh-Blowe and Julie Pena; his son-in-law Doug Blowe; his granddaughter Julianna Blowe; his son Jason Pena; and his granddaughter Zoe Pena.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Dang's name.
