Daniel M. Purdy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel M. Purdy of Brick, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daniel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Purdy. He is survived by: his mother Betty Purdy; his children, William Purdy (Marissa), Carly Purdy (Rafael Reyna) and Scott Purdy; his siblings, Stephen Purdy (Cheryl), Timothy Purdy (Cynthia), Robert Purdy (Karen) and Kathleen Goldberg (David); and his former wife Tamara Purdy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar (1600 NJ-70, Brick Township, NJ 08724).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a charitable donation be made in his honor to Hope Sheds Light (hopeshedlight.org) or Elks Camp Moore (njelkscampmoore.org).
