She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burns and Sophie Burns; her children-in-law, Diane Boylan, Hank Strauss, Stan Wiernik and Michael Petrone; and her siblings, Edward Burns, William Burns, Thomas Burns and Almeta Kish.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas of Milltown and Michael of Toms River; her grandchildren, Bridget Strauss Wiernik of Princeton Junction, Kelly Petrone of Seaside Park, Leslie Lapotasky (Michael), Adam Strauss, Neil Strauss (Sarah), Christine LaCava (Nick), Thomas Boylan V, Matthew Boylan, Keri Petrone, Mark Petrone, Hunter and Luke Boylan; and her great grandchildren, Haiden, Avery, Daniel, George, Annie and Hank.
