Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Applegate and Ralph Applegate; and his brother Ralph Applegate. He is survived by: his wife Judy Applegate (Altland); his children, Kevin Applegate (Cynthia "Cindy") of Old Bridge, Christina Czerepuszko (Martin "Marty") of Forked River and Sharon Applegate (Nyjid Cooper) of Lansdale, PA; his stepdaughters, Susan Bortner Arthurs (Keith) of Vienna, VA and Kathleen Bortner Hughes (Timothy) of Newtown Square, PA; and his sister Gloria Kozlowski of Florida.
