She was predeceased by: her parents, William Akerberg and Evelyn Akerberg (McCrea); and her daughter Evelyn Marie. She is survived by: her husband Robert Talmo; her daughter Kimberly Hopkins (Richard) of Quinton, VA; her siblings, William Akerberg Jr. (Barbara) of Georgetown, SC, Elizabeth McDonald of Barnegat and Dale Surdi (Joseph) of Toms River; her granddaughter Veronica Hefferon; and her brother-in-law Richard (Debi) of Toms River. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home (885 Mantoloking Rd, Brick, NJ 08723). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
