He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Basil and Rose Basil; and his brother Theodore "Teddy" Basil. He is survived by: his wife Maryann E. Basil; his daughters, Mary Wilde (Bill) of Brick and Jennifer Duerr (Craig) of Cary, NC; his brother Steven Basil of Plainsboro; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Emily, Kyle and Kate.
