He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Barbara Reddan and George Edwin Dakis Sr. George; and his son-in-law Nicholas Pope. He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie-Marie Dakis, Christine Howell (Peter), Stephanie Dakis-Pope, Danielle Strause (Justin), Sarah Dakis Anderson (Brian) and Cassandra Dakis; his siblings, Joanne Mazza (Thomas), John Eric Dakis, Susan Dakis Post (late Bradlee), Robert Dakis and Nicole Dakis Rupell; and his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Benjamin-Odysseus Von Otto, Petey, Leonidas, Justin Jr., Harrison and Monroe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
