Gerard D. Kennedy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard D. Kennedy of Brick, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Kennedy (Kerrigan); and his siblings, Thomas, William, Francis Kennedy and Gail McInerney.
He is survived by: his children, David Kennedy of Ohio, Jennifer A. Kennedy (late Gary Burns) of Whiting and Catherine McCarthy (Charles) of Howell; his siblings, Patricia Cunneen of Manahawkin and Kevin Kennedy of Glen Ridge; and his grandchildren, Ceili, Aiden and Liam.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home-Brick (505 Burnt Tavern Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A prayer was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
