It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivia Nicosia of Brick, New Jersey, born in Belleville, New Jersey, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Carmen (Skip); her parents, Antonio Pomponio and Conchetta Pomponio; and her siblings, Filomena, Josephine, Gene, Lawrence and Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Nicosia, Raymond Nicosia and Sally-Jo Michaels; her grandchildren, Vincent Nicosia (Danielle), Antonio Nicosia, Milani Nicosia and Christopher Michaels; her great grandchild Kiara Nicosia; her sisters, Theresa Pomponio and Leanora Pepe; her stepgrandchildren, Shona Tucker and Alec Tucker; and also David Hammon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
