He was predeceased by: his parents, James Meehan and Mary Meehan; and his brother Mortimer. He is survived by: his wife Philomena; his sons, Christopher (Lindsay) and James (Mary); his grandchildren, Mirabelle, Grace, Roan, Mary, Nora, Ganon, Maverick and Mickey; and his brothers, Jerry and Eugene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Viewing was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home-Wall (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762). An entombment was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Anne Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
