James M. Cox Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James M. Cox of Brick, New Jersey, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his former wife Geraldine Cox; his children, Susan Bender and James M. Cox; and his sisters, Lorraine Cox, Marian Malek and Dorothy Duffy.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen L. Cox; his children, Lorraine Griffin of Point Pleasant, Jeffrey Cox (Joyce) of Morrison, CO, Brian Cox (Hilary) of Brick, Paul Simoniello (Lily) of New York, NY and Denise Devaney (Sean) of Manasquan; his sisters, Geraldine Campbell and Peggy of Michigan; his grandchildren, Anthony (Stacey), Jason (Krisol), Robert (Leah), Courtney (Charlie), Garrett (Andie), Preston (Carly), Madelyn, Lucas, Chloe, Christopher, Caroline, Lia, Michael, Ava and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Hudson, Claire, Avery, Olivia, Kyler, Benji, Margot, Kaden and Hadley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
