Joan Givens Obituary

We announce the death of Joan Givens of Brick, New Jersey, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 90. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moran and Evelyn Moran (Ricker); her husband Cornelius Givens Sr.; her sons, Cornelius "Neil" Givens Jr. and John Givens; and her sisters, Evelyn Magee and Dolores Castle.

She is survived by: her daughter Ellen Gaynor (Mike) of Toms River; her grandchildren, Colin Gaynor (Carolyn), Casey Gaynor (Gina) and Jamie Gaynor; her daughter Maureen Lovato (Rick) of Lakewood; her granddaughters, Jacqueline Vona (Tony), Michelle Lovato Rick Lovato Jr. (Jordan) and Patricia Camarata (Tony) of Highlands; her great grandchildren, Sheridan Camarata and Alex Camarata; her daughters-in-law, Suzanne Givens and Terry Givens; her sisters, Marie Falvey, Helene Renzo (Jim) and Diane Pritzlaff-Lee (Dan); Julia O'Brien (Dan), Connor Givens, Patrick Givens and Kelly Rosica (Dave). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
