With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Johnston of Brick, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on February 11, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dixon and Norma Dixon; her sister Lizann "Liz" Barnes; and her sons, Scott Michael Johnston and Robert "Bobby J" Arthur Johnston.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Johnston; her daughter Kristine Johnston; and her pet Murphy. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
