It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Montemurro of Brick, New Jersey, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Emily; his parents, Philip Montemurro and Mary Montemurro; and his sister MaryAnn Sudol. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Speer (Greg), Michele O'Hearn (Frank) and Jennifer Hikade (James); his grandchildren, David Kurinsky (Caitlin), Amanda Spitalieri (Anthony), Sydney, Brandon O'Hearn, Jonathan, Matthew and Kayla Hikade; his great grandchildren, Ava, Kai, Anthony Jr. and Leila; his siblings, Philip Montemurro (Marissa) and Lucretia Leake (Bob); and his dear Marisa Busacca. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation or the American Heart Association in his honor.
