Whalen (Deborah) of Wilmette, IL and Mary Whalen (Gregory Howe) of Branford, CT.; her siblings, Roberta Smolskis of Southbury, CT and George M. O'Connor (Jeanne O'Connor) of Dayton, OH; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brian Zied), Kevin (Sarah McCrorey), Connor, Brian Longo, Corey, Seamus, Aregash, Deginet Whalen, Leila (David Yeager), Brendan and Aidan Strebel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
