With sadness, we share the passing of Marian Matula of Brick, New Jersey. Marian, born on January 10, 1934, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Marian for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul G. Matula. She is survived by: her son Paul; her grandchildren, Ciara (Brett), Erin (Jordan) and Paul (Abby); and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Mia and Maggie.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home- Owner John (2170 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Epiphany (615 Thiele Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Ocean County Memorial Park (1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Saint Jude Children's Hospital http://www.stjude.org. or the NY Firefighters Burn Center http://www.nyffburncenter.com.
