He was predeceased by: his father James Matera. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer V. Matera (Harmer); his son Matthew James Matera; his mother Geraldine Matera of Las Vegas; his siblings, James Matera (Tara) of Brick and Dena Matera of Truckee, CA; his siblings' children, Xander, Massimo, James of Brick, Rhythm and Melody of Truckee; and his mother-in-law Virginia Hamer of Point Pleasant. He is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.
