He was predeceased by: his wife Debra; his parents, Robert Hotmar and Vera Hotmar; and his in-laws, Richard and Reba Salmestrelli.
He is survived by: his son Aaron Hotmar (Allison); his grandchildren, Greyson and Jackson; his daughter Rebecca Booth (Dean); his grandchildren, Chase and Maverick; and his sister Lorena Garton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and their children; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (505 Burnt Tavern Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ramtown Fire Company and/or the New Jersey Fire Museum and Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
