Robert J. Shymanski Sr. Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Robert J. Shymanski Sr. of Brick, New Jersey is shared. Robert, born on October 12, 1941, passed away on October 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Shymanski and Yolanda Shymanski; and his siblings, Alan Shymanski and Sandra Medvetz. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Rose Shymanski (Bilas); his children, Robert J. Shymanski, Jr. (Pamela) of Brick, Kevin M. Shymanski (Cyndi) of Howell and Susan A. Rubio of Brick; his brother James "Jimmy" Shymanski (Arlene) of Edison; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn A. Rubio, Christopher Shymanski and Lauren Shymanski; and his pets, King and Jean Claude.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home-Brick (505 Burnt Tavern Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Martha (3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
