With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shawn P. Kaplan of Brick, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shawn left this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 40, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his mother Karen Martenson; his sons, Jameson and Rocco Kaplan (Samantha Finkel); his siblings, Michael Kaplan (Krystal), Kathleen Lang (Bob) and Christopher Mays (Tonya); and his aunts and uncles, Colleen Mays, Anita Mays (Allan), Kelly Shepard (Walter), David Mays (Jackie), Patrick Mays and Raymond Mays (Georgina). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2170 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724).
