He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Lorenc and Jean Mackintosh; and his son Joe. He is survived by: his wife Joan of Ann's Roman Catholic Church; his children, John, Clare and Ann; and his brother Jim.
He regularly attended church and he helped run the group at Holy Family to have weekly Eucharistic Adoration until the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
