He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Thompson (Woelz); his children, Barbara Stark (Carl), Thomas J. Thompson Jr. (Mariel), Steven Thompson (Lori) and Jessica Fernandez (Ariel); his sister Mary Tango; and his grandchildren, Jason, Amanda Grace, Heather, Sofia, Patrick and Samantha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mastapeter Funeral Home (400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park, NJ 07204). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Tom's honor.
