He is survived by: his wife Pattie; his son Derek Biederstadt; his sister Louise Schaeffer (Bob); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Eldridge (Pat), John Eldridge (Judy) and Robb Eldridge (Emiko). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
