He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Gearty and Gladys Gearty (Hoage); his brothers, Bernard and Ronald; and his sister-in-law Nancy Gearty (Karl).
He is survived by: his son William F. Gearty; his wife Mary Margaret Gearty (Campbell) of Kearny; his daughter-in-law Molly Gearty (Blecka); his grandchildren, Maeve and Robert Gearty; and his sister Maureen A. Gearty.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762).
