He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lamar; his children, Alfred Lamar, Jr., Marie Lamar Williams (Alvin), Ronald Lamar (Linda) and Livingston Lamar; and his stepchildren, Charles Smith, Shawn Carter and Jermaine Carter. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew and cousins.
