He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Harris (Cream) and Edward Edwin Harris; his wife Shirley J. Harris; and his sisters, Ella "Dolly" Land, Lois "Lowie" Dobbins, Jacqueline Scriber and Brenda Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Nichelle Harris, Shannan Harris, Greg Miller (Rasheen) and Niquita Harris Leary; his grandchildren, Camaryn, Miranda (Tasha), Johnny, Savanah, Bryce, Mia, Gianna, Jason, Ella and Quinn; and his great grandchild Aubrielle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church (831 Kaighns Ave, Camden, NJ 08103). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (1300 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077).
