She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gates (Bob); her son Brian Gates; her daughter-in-law Barbara Gates (Patitucci); her parents, George Kell and Margaret Kell; and her siblings, George Kell, Joseph Kell (Bucky), Robert Kell (Bob), Dorothy Estadt (Dot), Alice Campbell and Marion Sorantino.
She is survived by: her son Harry Gates, Sr. (Julia) of Cedarville; her grandsons, Harry Gates, Jr. (Jackie) of Deerfield Twp and Robert Gates (Jessie Venello) of Pilesgrove; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Adam, Brody Gates, Kevin, David Baran, Gia, Laityn and Piper Gates; and her brother-in-law Joseph J. Sorantino, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
