She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Masteller and Mary Arlene English Masteller; and her brothers, Glenn Masteller and Samuel Masteller. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth A. Mitchell; her children, Sarah Varner, William Mitchell of Asheville, NC and Linda Mercado of Spencer, NC; and her siblings, John Masteller and Shirley Hill. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
