It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janey Mae McClendon of Bridgeton, New Jersey, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James McClendon and Lessie Mae McClendon; and her sister Mary Covington. She is survived by : her significant other Johnnie Artis; her children, Randell McClendon and Jakia Artis of Bridgeton; her grandchildren, Dayleishea McClain, Shakeira Macintosh, Amirah Williams, Tonay Brown-McClendon, Randell McClendon Jr., Christian Artis and Cardell Mcclendon; her siblings, Lessie Hicks of Bridgeton, Willie McClendon of Vineland, Ola McClendon of Bridgeton, Pearl Baker of Minotola and Terri McClendon of Louisville, KY; and her siblings-in-law, George Hicks and Lyshiron McClendon.
