He is survived by: his wife Patricia Allen Alston Covey; his stepchildren, Pauline Allen (Selena Alston), Kenneth, Ronald Allen and Henry Alston; his grandsons, Kyle and Keevis Allen; his daughters, Janet and Mona Lisa Covey; and his sister Shirley Boone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.
