He is survived by : his stepfather John Jordan; his son John Munson Jr. of Pennsylvania; his sisters, Rose M. Pierce (Tony) of Pittsgrove Twp and Minnie F. Munson of Millville; and his grandson Derrick Munson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
