She was predeceased by: her father Edward; her husband William J. Werkheiser; her son Frederick J. Werkheiser; and her siblings, Charles "Sonny" Bender, Leslie Bender, Eddie Bender, Frederick Bender and Dorothy McNeely.

She is survived by: her brother Frank Bender (Betty); and her sons, Omar Werkheiser (Janet) and William E. Werkheiser (Shelly). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
