He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee Murphy (Prosser); his stepdaughters, Cynthia Brown (Gordon) and Shirley Ann Wright (Dennis); and his siblings, Waymon Murphy, Helen Beck, Ethel Stewart and Carol Woods. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and six Godchildren.
