With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel Dameo of Bridgewater, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daniel left this world on May 21, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Dameo and Natalie Dameo; and his siblings, Rocque Dameo and Virginia Dameo Kreautler. He is survived by: his wife Joan Soper of Malone; his children, Dianne "Dee" Dameo, Dana Idema (David) and David Dameo; his grandchildren, Kendall Gross, Claire Idema, Spencer Dameo, Natalie Dameo and Elizabeth Wages (Austin); his great grandchild Willow Jo Wages; and his sister Kathleen Dameo of Bethesda. He is also survived by five nephews, and one niece.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cuoco Funeral & Cremation Services Funeral Home (10 West End Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (158 W High St, Somerville, NJ 08876).
