He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta; and his brother-in-law Arvin Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Stuart Persky (Lisa) and Adam Persky (Kathryn Fuller); his grandchildren, Aaron, Alexander and Katelyn; his sister Iris Smith; his brother-in-law Stephen Shifrinson; and his nephews, Greg Smith (Courtney), David Smith (Claire), Josh Shifrinson (Carrie Ritter) and Zachary Shifrinson (Monika Radkowski).
