He was preceded by his father George and mother Carmela (Battaglia) Leonard and survived by his sisters Madilyn (Leonard) Benrubi and her husband Charles Benrubi of Rockville MD, Mary Leonard of El Cajon CA, Rose (Leonard) Gold and her husband Jay Gold of Raritan NJ, Theresa Leonard of Somerville NJ, and brother James Leonard of Bridgewater NJ, as well as seven nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
