He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Cruser and Cora Polhemus (Lowe); his wife Olga Polhemus (Schaefer); his siblings, Helen Hall, Madaleine Welsh, John Polhemus and Abram Polhemus; his son Thomas Polhemus; and his grandson Beau McGrath.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy McGrath (Gary) and Jane Skrzyniarz (Ron); his daughter-in-law Barbara; his grandchildren, Danielle Gascoyne, Sarah Skrzyniarz and Brandon Skrzyniarz; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Colson Gascoyne.
