It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Lowe Polhemus of Bridgewater, New Jersey, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Cruser and Cora Polhemus (Lowe); his wife Olga Polhemus (Schaefer); his siblings, Helen Hall, Madaleine Welsh, John Polhemus and Abram Polhemus; his son Thomas Polhemus; and his grandson Beau McGrath.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy McGrath (Gary) and Jane Skrzyniarz (Ron); his daughter-in-law Barbara; his grandchildren, Danielle Gascoyne, Sarah Skrzyniarz and Brandon Skrzyniarz; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Colson Gascoyne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home (147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Clover Hill Reformed Church (890 Amwell Rd, Hillsborough Township, NJ 08844).
