He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Maas Jr. (Mary) and Jeannette Maas (McClory); and his sister Linda Walsh. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Alvarez (Maas); his son-in-law Dennis Alvarez; his grandsons, Quinn and Riley Alvarez; his brother Dennis Maas; his sister-in-law Debbie Maas; his former wife Nancy Maas; his stepdaughter Jennifer Anderson; his son-in-law Glenn Anderson; his granddaughters, Aleigh, Katie and Carrie Moore; his son-in-law Joseph Moore; and his granddaughters, Grace, Mairin and Brooke.
