He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Kowal (Toland); his children, Michael Kowal (Jennifer), John Kowal (Anne Marie), Jennifer Williams (Daniel) and Amber Kowal (Andrew Cullen); his grandchildren, Emma, Paige, Tess, Haley, Jaden, Chloe and Aaron; his sister Thomas Kowal (Ellene); and his niece Helen J. Kowal.
