Richard Caruso Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 6, 2026, at the age of 93, Richard Caruso of Brigantine, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Caruso and Eva Lancia; his wife Mary Caruso; his son Richard Bruce Caruso II; and his brothers, Albert Caruso and Rudolph Caruso.
He is survived by: his daughter Celeste Caruso Purpura (Samuel Purpura, Jr.); his daughter-in-law MiMi Caruso; his grandchildren, Candice Caruso (Cesar Rucker), Richard B. Caruso III (Melanie Caruso), Salvatore Caruso (Whitni Caruso) and Tiffany Purpura; and his great grandchildren, Dominique Rucker, Richard B. Caruso IV, Vivienne Caruso, Austin Caruso and Avery Caruso.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Polish American String Band.
