He was predeceased by: his son Michael Anthony Lang (Lynn Lang); his parents, Charles Louis Lang and Frances Lang; and his brother Charles Lang. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lang; his children, Kiersten Parsons (Gregory Parsons), Elizabeth Smith (Ronald Smith), Alexandria Smith, Isabella McIlvaine (Michael McIlvaine), Mikayla Smith and Leila Smith; and his sister Kathleen LaGraff (William LaGraff). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
