Loretta P. Jacobsen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta P. Jacobsen of Budd Lake, New Jersey, who passed away on May 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Loretta may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Fedorcho and Helen Fedorcho; her children, Bernadette Jacobsen, John Jacobsen and Jennifer Trotte (Brad); and her sister Janice Fahey.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burroughs Kohr Dangler Funeral Home (106 Main St, Madison, NJ 07940). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (85 Washington Ave, Chatham Township, NJ 07928). A burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Loretta's memory to the American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org.) or Chesire Home (http://www.cheshirehome.org.).
