She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances James and Clarence James; her former husband John; her sister Carol Harbeson; her son-in-law Bill Simpson; and her pet Duke.

She is survived by: her children, John (Lynn), Sue, Donna and Debbie (Charlie); and her grandchildren, Andrew, Taylor, Nichole and Lauren.
