She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carter and Althea Green-Williams; her husband Harold VanDunk; her siblings, Aaron Williams, Edward Carter, George Carter, Thomas Williams and Barbara Williams; and her former husband Leroy Gist.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Gist (Gale) of Maryland, Robert Gist (Brunilda) of Bethlehem, Thomas C. Gist of Palmyra, Harold Harrison VanDunk Jr. (Valerie) of Smyrna, DE, Dawn Marie Bracey (Daniel) of Wrightstown, Patricia Zayas of Blackwood and William Charles VanDunk (Jennifer) of Pemberton. She is also survived by two daughters, five sons, two brothers, five sisters; fifty-five grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
