It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Cornelia Card of Butler, New Jersey, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Dykhuis and Jessie Dykhuis. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Card; her children, Adrian Card (Peter Brodigan) and Betsy Chandler (Terry); her granddaughter Katherine E. Chandler; her siblings-in-law, Luella "Lou" Dykhuis, Dolores Kreps and Arthur Gionti, MD; her parents-in-law, Arnold Sr. and Elizabeth Card; her siblings, Henry Dykhuis and Elizabeth Gionti; and her son-in-law John Tinker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, colleagues, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Irene's family would appreciate your honoring her spirit and legacy by spending time with family, shut-in's, or the elderly and young people.
