He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; his daughter Patricia McGovern; his son-in-law Jack McGovern; his sister Marie; and his parents, Mike (Mary Dore) and Lorraine (Navy).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Dolores Torre. He is also survived by family has flourished with 24 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
