He was predeceased by : his parent Marie Clark-DeWitt; his stepfather Todd DeWitt; and his sister Dana Springstead-DeWitt. He is survived by : his brother Russ Congleton; his children, Sherry and Rich Connelly; his grandson Darrin Springstead; his great grandchildren, Kristine and Kenny Kuhrt; and his stepsiblings, Henry, Missy and Karen.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc. (86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
