With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet P. Schwartz of Caldwell, New Jersey, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Garlette and Margaret Garlette; her husband Edward Schwartz Jr.; and her son Eddie Schwartz. She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Renee), Matt (Becky), Ryan (Rossana), Christopher (Stephanie) and Michael (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Brianna, Eddie, Erica, Giulia, Audrey, Conner, Jillian, Jacob of Chloe, CJ, Sabrina and Scarlett; her great grandchildren, Elias, Athena, D'Angelo and Coraline; and her brothers, William Garlette, John Garlette (Kathleen), James Garlette (Malinda) and Edward Garlette (Claudia). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home (45 Roseland Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068).
